The pandemic has brought about the need to integrate technology that can help us clean and disinfect gadgets on a daily basis. While there are cleaning cases we can use for our phones, wearables etc, LG has decided to integrate this tech into its new earbuds itself.

The new LG Tonefree FN7 and FN6 that have been launched recently come with an UVnano charging cradle that has ultraviolet light that promises to sanitises the earbuds by eliminating 99.9% bacteria while they charge.

The charging case also comes with LED lighting on the top that works as an indicator for charging levels and the UVnano status.

The LG Tonefree FN7 and FN6 also come with active noise cancellation (ANC), Meridian-tuned premium sound etc. Accessible through the LG Tonefree app on both Android and iOS devices, Meridian's EQ sound settings can be customised as per your hearing needs and preferences.

The new earbuds are also IPX4-rated for sweat and rain, making them completely water resistant. The LG Tonefree FN7 comes with a 21-hour long battery life with upto 7 hours of playback and an extra 14 hours in the cradle, while the LG Tonefree FN6 comes with an 18-hour long battery life with upto six hours of playback.

LG Tonefree FN7 and FN6 cradle comes in two-color options; Stylish Black and Modern White.

The LG Tonefree FN7 and FN6 can be bought starting today, January 5, and are priced at ₹29,990 and ₹24,990, respectively. You can avail a 70% discount on the the higher-end FN7 as part of a pre booking offer and 60% on the FN6, valid only on the LG online store. Starting next week the earbuds will be available at all retail and leading E-commerce platforms.
