Nokia is going to launch an audio product in India on April 5 on Flipkart, might be TWS earphones

Nokia is also expected to launch neckband-style earphones along with some other audio solutions.

Nokia is scheduled to launch new audio products in India on April 5 on Flipkart, just before launching a few smartphones on April 8. According to the information on the Nokia Audio Store on Flipkart, the audio solution to be launched is going to come with tech that's designed “to give pure sound”.

There are also hints towards the fact that the product can be used in the rain, during workouts, for gaming and in crowded spots. All this information is accompanied by teaser videos that indicate that Nokia might launch a pair of true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones.

The teasers on Flipkart give us hints about various features of the audio solution Nokia is going to launch and you are also asked to guess “what's in store”. The only hint you get for the guess is - “Rain, sweat or splash, don't stop the music. Thanks to water resistance rating…” and you get to pick from three IPX ratings - IPX7, IPX4 and IPX3.

Going by this one can assume that the product Nokia is going to launch is going to come with an IPX7 rating that comes with water resistance good enough to be used in the rain.

The fact that the earphones can be used in “crowded spots” is an indication that they might come with active noise cancellation (ANC) and since you can also use them while you are working out, they should fit securely. There should also be low latency since you can use these while gaming too.

We've already told you that Nokia is expected to launch Bluetooth neckband earphones in India on Flipkart and so far we know that it is going to come with Bluetooth 5.1 support, Qualcomm aptX HD audio tech and also rapid charge support. These earphones are tipped to deliver nine hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charge. And they are supposed to come in three colour options - Blue, Black and Golden. It is possible that these might also get launched on April 5.
