Samsung is expected to launch its next generation smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, alongside the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Fold 2 smartphones in August this year. Ahead of the official launch, Samsung's upcoming smartwatch has been a subject of countless leaks in the past couple of weeks. Now, a new report gives us the first glimpse of the Galaxy Watch 3.

The images of the Galaxy Watch 3 first appeared on the Korean certification site NRRA where they were spotted by MySmartPrice. The listing on the certification site shows that the Galaxy Watch 3 will come with a physically rotating bezel, something that was missing in the Galaxy Watch Active 2 that was launched last year. Additionally, the smartwatch will come with two buttons on the right side of the crown.

As far as other features are concerned, the Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to be available in 45mm and 41mm size variants that correspond to 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch screen sizes. The watch is likely to be available in stainless steel and titanium variants both. The displays will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX.

Reports also hint that the Galaxy Watch 3 will be powered by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage and run on Tizen OS 5.5 out of the box. It will come with a 340mAh battery that corresponds to the 41mm size variant and a 247mAh battery that corresponds to the 45mm size variant.

That said, Samsung hasn't officially announced the watch yet. So, we will have to wait for an official confirmation to say more about the device.
