Timex FIT launched with telemedicine features and fitness tracking at ₹6995
As with many wearable devices that have added in features to keep pace with current trends, the Timex FIT smartwatch features sensors to measure body temperature, blood oxygen levels, and heart rate monitoring.
Timex on Monday launched Timex FIT, a new health monitoring smartwatch with a unique telemedicine feature to seek medical assistance, along with varied forms of health monitoring, according to the company.

The main feature on the Timex FIT is a new ‘Telemedicine' feature, that allows users seek medical assistance with one touch. According to the company, users can book consultations with doctors via the Timex FIT app, while also sharing health and wellness information with family members. Remote monitoring of statistics can also be enabled, while the device can also send out alerts if the wearer requires help, the company says.

The company has also added regular reminders to get up and move around, activity tracking and a sleep monitoring system to the smartwatch. The device will be sold in Black Mesh and Rose Gold Mesh strap variants, and Black, Black Red and Black Blue Silicon strap variants.

On the battery front, Timex says that the smartwatch offers up to six days of battery life. It also comes with a colour touch screen with up to ten watch faces, while users can also set their own images as their watch faces. These can be configured from the Timex FIT app from the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store. The company has priced the device at ₹6995 — it will retail at authorised Timex retailers or on the company's official website, according to the company.
