With Rs. 1400 in your pocket, you have a wide variety of options among earphones to choose from. To give you another option for consideration, Dizo, a brand under Realme TechLife ecosystem, has come up with Dizo Wireless Power. The neckband-style earphone is packed with features like gaming mode, noise cancellation for calls, magnetic instant connection, good battery life, and much more to allure the buyers. Sounds tempting right? But does it justify the claims it is making? To figure this out, I used the Dizo Wireless Power for around 10 days, and here is what I observed.

Dizo Wireless Power: Design

Finding a unique and attractive design on neckbands can be a task! You can get attractive colour choices but here, Dizo has tried to bring both -- a unique design and quirky colour options. The Dizo Wireless Power gets a honeycomb inspired design along with a matte finish. To me, this honeycomb pattern on the module of the neckband looks cool and elegant at the same time. The colour options include- Violet Blue, Hunter Green and Classic Black.

The neckband is durable, flexible and sits comfortably around the neck. Also, when not in use, it can be folded and kept inside your pocket, if you do not wish to hang it around your neck! With that said its lightweight construction (27.1 grams) did not cause any wear fatigue and felt comfortable even after prolonged use.

Coming to the earbuds, it has got both a shiny and matte finish look. Matte at the outer end while shiny towards the inside. The earbuds are small in size and perfectly adjusted into my ears. No matter how much I moved and shook my head, the earbuds were left intact. Also, the earbuds are magnetically connected. You need to detach them to connect and disconnect the neckband with your phone. The connectivity speed is good. The Dizo Wireless Power is also water resistant and holds IPX4 rating.

Dizo Wireless Power: Audio quality and performance

Relying on the audio quality of low-priced earphones does not always prove to be a correct decision. And Dizo Wireless Power did impress me here. It provided a decent sound quality and that too with clarity on both the minimum and the maximum volume. The Dizo Wireless Power uses an 11.2mm driver which makes it a good choice to consider if you want a better music experience.

Also, using the Realme Link App, you can change between three sound effects- bass boost+, balanced, and bright. I enjoyed listening to songs switching to the bass boost+ option compared to others; you may like the other options as well based on your preferences.

While on call, the audio comes very clear. Noise cancellation for calls works decently, however, the person on another side of the phone could hear some high-pitched or loud sounds. The sound range is also impressive as I was able to hear the audio clearly while my phone rested in another room.

Now coming to the dedicated game mode offered by the neckband. When turned on, it offers up to 88ms low latency, as claimed by the company. I did not find any issues in audio-video synchronization while playing games and even in videos. So, it did impress me fairly well!

The right side module of the Dizo Wireless Power neckband supports three buttons- two for volume and one multifunctional. The volume buttons only control the volumes. While the multifunctional button can be used to change, play and pause music tracks, answer calls, and change to gaming mode. Also, the multifunction button is customizable using the Realme Link app as per the convenience. However, I missed the touch sensor control on the earbuds.

Dizo Wireless Power: Battery life

Battery life on Wireless Power is quite good. On a single charge, the neckband easily offers around 1-1.5 day battery life on continuous usage. You can easily extract around 4 days of battery life with around 4-5 hours of daily usage on a single charge. However, the 150mAh battery does take a long time to charge completely. When fully drained out, it takes around 2 hours to refill its energy.

Dizo Wireless Power: Verdict

For its asking price of Rs. 1,399, the Dizo Wireless Power can be a considerable choice for buyers, provided with its commendable audio performance, design, battery life, and ease of use. Dizo definitely is giving a tough fight to its competition from Xiaomi, Noise, Boat, among others. That said, the neckband does take time to charge, and also those looking for touch sensor control would get a little disappointed. If looking for an alternative, you can also check out Boat Rockerz 330 Pro and Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo among others.
