After a long wait, the battery electric Class 8 semi-truck went into production in October 2022 and initial units were delivered to PepsiCo on December 1. The price of the vehicle is not known at the moment. (Tesla)

The Tesla Semi runs on a 900 kWh battery pack which gives a range of more than 500 miles even at a full load of 82,000 pounds or 37,000 kilograms. It can reach a top speed of 65 mph. (Tesla)
