Coolest Smartphones of 2022
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max with its Dynamic Island has been everyone’s favourite this year. And a mighty A16 Bionic chip, a superb 48MP main camera, an amazing OLED display, and a stellar battery life to back it all.
The Google Pixel 7 Pro leaves us spellbound with its still photography, especially when the Sun goes down. That and a gorgeous 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display, a beautifully skinned Android 13, and mighty performance makes it our favourite Android flagship of 2022.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has to be in this list for its sheer folding capability. Having a pair of nicely tuned cameras on a origami-style tripod makes for a great camera to carry around. Plus, you can fold it shut when not needed.
And the Nothing Phone 1: A phone with a semi transparent back and LED “Glyph” lights to adorn it – how can that not be cool? Especially when it starts at Rs. 27,499?
Dashing smartwatches of 2022
The Apple Watch Series 8 defines the perfect smartwatch of today. Be it health monitoring or an extension of your iPhone, the Watch Series 8 is the coolest watch for the job. Get the 45mm variant for its large beautiful display.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro does all the cool things the Apple Watch Series 8 does, and lasts 3 days easily on a single charge. Plus, it works with Android phones (only). The rugged look also is a big pleaser.
Rocking TWS earbuds of 2022
For span class='webrupee'₹/span16,999, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro sounds superb and fits in well with most ears. It also offers a plethora of smart features to make life easy on the move. Get it preferably if you use a Samsung smartphone.
The Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen impresses with its great ANC performance and a well tuned audio note. The case also has its own speaker for notifications on battery status and FindMy scanning. Only recommended with Apple products though.
An OLED TV for Rs. 89,999 – this is cool in itself. And that too a good one. The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV left us impressed with its picture quality and a superb user experience. PatchWall is brilliant for content hunting and its speaker system eliminates the need for an additional soundbar.
The Samsung QN95B Neo QLED 4K is eye-wateringly pricey at Rs. 2.7 lakhs but TV lovers can’t get anything better than this in this price range. Samsung’s QLED panel is better in colours and brightness than competing OLED TVs at this price. Plus, we loved Tizen OS as a smart TV platform; it is well sorted and runs fast.
