This way, you will be able to see available phone memory and how much space that photo or video on your WhatsApp is taking up.  (HT Tech)

You can also sort media by tapping the sort icon to by Newest, Oldest, or Largest to easily find the media that you want to delete.  (HT Tech)

Now, select and tap on individual or multiple media and then simply delete them. (Pixabay)

That’s all! You will save a huge amount of space in just a few simple steps.

However, you should note that even after you delete media from WhatsApp it may still be available on your phone's storage. So, ensure that you delete it permanently from your phone gallery too.

WhatsApp Pro TIP: You can also set limit to WhatsApp upload quality to take care of your storage. Just open Storage and data, and set Data saver under Media upload quality.
