The US Air Force has launched its latest nuclear stealth bomber named B-21 Raider, which will replace the B-2 Spirit, which it resembles and many other aircraft first flown in the Cold War. (AFP)

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said while delivering his remarks at the ceremony in California that B-21’s edge will last for decades.  (AP)

He further added that B-21 will emerge as the most maintainable bomber ever built. It can network across the battlespace to multiple systems, and into all domains. Currently, only 6 planes are in production. However, the US Air Force is planning to acquire at least 100 B-21 Raider stealth bombers.  (AP)
