What is the NASA's Mars Perseverance Rover? (NASA)

Perseverance Rover landed on Mars on February 18, 2021. It is studying a region of Mars called Jezero Crater. Robotic rovers have helped clear up many Mars mysteries. (NASA)

It has always been speculated that there is life on Mars due to few of the elements found there similar to that of earth. The biggest speculation was that there was once water on Mars and hence, it was argued, there was life on the planet too.  (NASA)

The Mars Perseverance rover mission is part of NASA's Mars Exploration Program, a long-term effort of robotic exploration of the Red Planet. (NASA)

During exploration on Mars, the rover has collected evidence of water and some of the chemical building blocks of life. (NASA)

This has triggered the scientist’s speculation about existence of life on Mars. They now think it might be possible that life existed on Mars a long time ago. (NASA)

Some have concluded that if life ever existed on Mars surface, it would not be tiny green aliens, but more like tiny little organisms—something like bacteria here on Earth. (NASA)

This Mission is very much similar to that of Curiosity to explore the rocks, dirt, and air on Mars. (NASA)

Perseverance is a small SUV type vehicle similar to Curiosity Rover that too is on Mars and is exploring the Gale crater. The rover will also carry out experiments that would be helpful in planning a human mission to Mars. (NASA)

The Perseverance rover was launched from Earth on July 30, 2020 while it arrived safely on Mars on February 18, 2021. (NASA)
