EA Games is all set to launch the Mobile version of its strategic battle-royale shooter Apex Legends for Android and iOS on May 17 around the world. Apex Legends has become one of the most popular free to play games worldwide with millions of players every single day. And now, the number is all set to increase with the launch of the Apex Legends Mobile.

Announced back in 2019, EA has previously opened the Beta for Apex Legends Mobile last year. Initially available in India and Philippines, EA made it available around the world. And now, the launch date has been announced for Android and iOS platforms. You can pre-register to receive special in-game rewards among other things. Here's all you need to know.

According to the Developers, “Apex Legends has been designed explicitly for mobile, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in one of the most advanced battle royale combat games available for a tablet or phone.”

However, EA has announced that since it is a standalone mobile title, it will not feature cross-play functionality with either the gaming consoles or the PC version of Apex Legends.

The game will have mobile-only content and gameplay modes. According to EA, Apex Legends will have new Legends, maps, gameplay modes, progression, live events and more!

Both Android and iOS users can pre-register for the Apex Legends Mobile game to receive special in-game rewards. Users have to visit EA's website and open the Apex Legends section. Then click on pre-register and updates. You have to fill in your email, birthdate and region and then click on sign up.
