Lenovo was founded in 1984 by Liu Chuanzhi and is headquartered in China. The company was constituted as a legal corporation in 1988 under the moniker ‘Legend,' and did business under that name for nearly two decades. It bought the personal computer division of IBM, an American information technology firm, in 2005. Lenovo became the world's third-largest computer manufacturer as a result of this acquisition. Lenovo released its first smartphone, LePhone, in 2010.
In 2011, the company launched a joint venture to produce personal computers with NEC, a Japanese electronics giant. In 2014, Lenovo bought Motorola Mobility from Google. The deal comprised Motorola's Moto and Droid smartphone lines. Despite the fact that Google retained Motorola's advanced technology and project units, Lenovo was granted royalty-free licences to use all of Google's patents. The Lenovo K13 Note by Lenovo will be launched soon in India. It has a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels included with the phone.
