When LG sells a TV with a price higher than that of a Mercedes Benz E-Class, you expect something out of this world. And sure enough, the TV that costs Rs. 75 lakhs has something mind blowing! Or rather, bending itself since this is the LG Signature R OLED TV. Yes, a TV that can roll itself down when not needed, or depending on the requirement. After gracing the show floors of major exhibitions and tech conferences, LG finally brings its rollable foldable TV to the Indian market.

Along with the rollable TV with an exorbitant sticker price, LG has also announced a new range of OLED TVs for far lesser prices. Hence, you can get an OLED TV for as low as Rs. 89,990 and go all the way up to Rs. 75 lakhs for the LG rollable TV. LG promises superior picture quality than ever with its new range of OLED TVs in India, along with a great user experience.

LG rollable TV launches in India alongside LG OLED TVs

LG has brought a couple of new features for the updated 2022 range of OLED TVs. The TVs feature a new α (Alpha) 9 Gen 5 intelligent processor and unique picture algorithms — LG's evo technology is built into the 2022 G2 series (LG OLED evo Gallery Edition) and C2 series. LG says its OLED evo TVs offer exceptional clarity and detail for lifelike images that provide a life-like experience. The Brightness Booster Max technology makes the G2 series 30% brighter and the C2 series 20% brighter than their predecessors.

The LG OLED G2 series TVs are available in 139 cm (55-inch) and 164 cm (65-inch) models, complete with the Gallery Design to mount the TVs flush to the wall. The LG C2 series comes in a new smallest 42-inch size and adds to the existing range of 246 cm (97-inch), 210 cm (83-inch), 195cm (77-inch), 164 cm (65-inch), 139 cm (55-inch), and 121 cm (48-inch).

Additionally, LG's 2022 OLED TVs come with the new webOS 22. webOS 22 offers several new personalization options, including customizable user profiles for each member of the house to tailor their viewing experience to their preferred apps, and content services. Moreover, webOS 22 provides Room To Room Share, that enables users to mirror their favourite content via Wi-Fi from one TV to another in their homes There's also the Always Ready capability that turns the LG TV into a media display.

The LG OLED TVs also get Dolby Vision IQ with Precision Detail which unlocks additional features from Dolby Vision content, including Netflix, Disney+, Hotstar and many more. LG's new OLED TVs deliver Dolby Atmos spatial sound through their speaker system to provide with a cinematic experience.

Lastly, for gamers, these LG OLED TVs bring a Game Optimizer menu that allows to select between specialized gaming features and presets. They also support NVIDIA G-SYNC features which allows gamers to use VRR with supporting gaming platforms to offer a tearing-free gameplay. The display presets for various game genres add a sports mode, joining the previously available options of first-person shooter, role-playing, and real-time strategy. The 2022 LG TVs will incorporate a Dark Room Mode, when activated, will adjust the picture's brightness while maintaining the highlights and picture quality of the games.
