Microsoft Surface Go 3 tablet launched; check price, specs

It was an important night for Microsoft today. The company hosted a special hardware-focused event during which it launched the Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 8 laptop, Surface Duo 2 foldable phone and a bunch of accessories. In addition to these, Microsoft also launched the Microsoft Surface Go 3 laptop.

The Microsoft Surface Go 3 tablet succeeds the Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet that was launched back in May 2020. The Surface Go 3 brings a faster chipset to Microsoft 2-in-1, which means you are likely to get things done faster using it

Microsoft Surface Go 3 price and availability

The Wi-Fi variant of the Microsoft Surface Go 3 will be available for pre-orders in select markets starting today. Microsoft Surface Go 3 price starts at $399.99 ( ₹29,534 approx.). Microsoft said that the LTE variant of the Surface Go 3 will be available for purchase in the coming months.

Microsoft Surface Go 3 features and specs

Coming to the features, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 features a 10.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen display. It is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i3 processor, which the company says gives the Surface Go 3 a nearly 60% boost. This processor is coupled with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. For storage space, users can pick from 64GB eMMC, 128GB SSD or 256GB SSD storage options. On the battery front, the Surface Go 3 offers up to 11 hours of battery life. It features a webcam with a 1080p resolution in the front and it has Dolby Audio for advanced audio quality. On the software front, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 runs on the upcoming Windows 11 operating system. “This product brings optional LTE Advanced3, all-day battery, built-in Microsoft security, and is optimized for tablet-to-laptop versatility with digital Pen and touch,” Microsoft said.

Microsoft also launched the Surface Slim Pen 2, which works with a range of devices including Surface Go 3 tablet, and the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop Studio laptop, that Microsoft announced today. The Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2 is available at a price of $129.99 ( ₹9,597 approx) for pre-orders in select markets starting today.
