Apple has unleashed the next-gen iPad Pro today. While we already have been reading several reports about the expected specifications and price, Apple has confirmed that the newly launched iPad Air comes with M2 Apple Silicon processor. The new iPad Pro features a next-level Apple Pencil, superfast wireless connectivity, along with an advanced display, pro cameras, Face ID, Thunderbolt, a four-speaker audio system and much more. Next-gen iPad Pro specifications:

The new iPad Pro comes with the latest iPadOS 16 software including Stage Manager, full external display support, desktop-class apps, and Reference Mode. Powered by M2 chipset, iPad Pro features incredible performance, ProRes video capture, superfast wireless connectivity, and powerful iPadOS 16 features. The device comes with a 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Liquid Retina XDR display to match the color requirements, colour grading, and composition. It offers a redesigned inline find-and-replace experience, a new document menu, customisable toolbars, as well as the ability to change file extensions, view folder size in Files. In terms of connectivity, the new iPad Pro supports the fastest Wi-Fi connections with support for Wi-Fi 6E.

Next-gen iPad Pro price and availability

The new iPad Pro booking is beginning today, from October 18, at apple.com/in/store as well as in the Apple Store app in 28 countries and regions, including the US. The device comes in two size variants- new 11-inch and 12.9-inch. You can choose from silver and space gray color variants in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations.

In India, the price for the 11-inch iPad Pro starts at INR 81900 while the 12.9-inch starts at INR 112900. The in-stores availability will begin from Wednesday, October 26.
