If you use an Android phone, there’s an easy way to have two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously. Most phones from Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo and few others offer the “Dual apps” or “Parallel apps” feature. This allows users to create a second profile for the particular app and have it registered on the second SIM card. There are several third-party apps on the Play Store for the purpose. That’s not the case with the iPhone though.

On iOS, Apple does not allow one to have two profiles of the same apps. Hence, unless the app developer decides to incorporate the feature natively within the app, there’s no official way to have two WhatsApp accounts running on one iPhone. But what if we say there is a clever trick and all it requires is installing WhatsApp Business on your iPhone.

Turns out that you can install both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business on your iPhone and make them run two different accounts simultaneously. Obviously, one of your accounts will be converted into a business account fin order to make that happen.

2 WhatsApp accounts on one iPhone: How to do it

Step 1: The process requires you to have both the WhatsApp app and the WhatsApp Business app installed on the device.
Step 2: Ensure that you have the second SIM card installed on your iPhone, or have it ready in another phone nearby.
Step 3: Install the WhatsApp Business app from the App Store.
Step 4: Once it installs, open it and put in your other/secondary phone number.
Step 5: The registration process is similar to regular WhatsApp login. Complete the on-screen instructions.
Step 6: Once the setup process is done, you can now text from the second phone number by using the WhatsApp Business app. For texting or calling via the main phone number, you can use the standard WhatsApp app.
