Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone to launch in India on June 21

Samsung launched its M-series smartphone, the Galaxy M21, in India in March 2020. Now, a year-and-a-half later Samsung is ready to launch the second-generation Galaxy M21 smartphone in India. The Korean electronics giant will be launching the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone in India via a special event at 12PM on July 21, 2021.

The news comes as a courtesy of Amazon India, which via its microsite revealed key details about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone. The phone will be available in India via Amazon India. Interested buyers will get a 10% discount on the purchases made via HDFC Bank credit and debit cards and EMI transactions.

Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition specs

The Amazon India microsite has divulged a number of key details pertaining to the upcoming Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone. The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch full HD+ sAMOLED display. It comes with an Infinity U-display that houses a single front camera. While Samsung hasn’t revealed details about the phone’s processor and storage capacity, it has shared that the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone will come with a gigantic 6,000mAh battery. The company has also revealed that its upcoming M-series smartphone will come with a vertically stacked triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera with the company’s GM2 sensor.

In addition to this, we know that the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone will be available in Arctic Blue and Charcoal Black colour variants.

Galaxy M21 2021 Edition smartphone price

Samsung hasn’t revealed the pricing of its upcoming smartphone yet. But the company had launched the Galaxy M21 smartphone in India at a starting price of ₹12,999. So, it is expected that the 2021 Edition of the smartphone will be priced between ₹10,000 and ₹15,000.

The Samsung Galaxy M21 features a 6.4-inch sAMOLED full HD+ Infinity U display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the in-house Exynos 9611 processor that is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage space. On the camera front, it sports a triple-rear-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 20-megapixel camera. It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery.
