Apple is trying to shrink the size of its AirPods Pro by getting rid of the long stem, as per a report by Bloomberg. On the other hand, the regular AirPods are being said to get a shorter stem like the current-gen AirPods Pro along with replaceable eartips.

The new AirPods Pro design, however, could be more rounded, ear-conforming in shape and look similar to what Samsung and Google offer with Galaxy Buds and Pixel Buds. The report adds that since Apple has been having a difficult time in fitting components in a smaller form factor, the final version might not be as ambitious as you may think.

It has been added that Apple could bring new wireless chips for both AirPods models, while planning to launch the much-anticipated over the ear headphones, tipped as AirPods Studio, next year. The headphones were supposed to hit mass production already but due to a tighter headband the plan got postponed.

Meanwhile, Apple is still rumoured to launch its AirTags this year. As tipster Prosser mentions in the tweet, the AirTags are on schedule for a release alongside the iOS 14.3 as the OS version will feature support for AirTags and is expected to arrive by next month. So, the AirTags might also launch by November this year.

Apple is also said to launch at least one ARM chipset-based MacBook device later this year as it promised during WWDC 2020 conference.
