Realme X7 series with 5G support to launch in India in 2021, confirms CEO

Looks like Realme is planning to continue its smartphone launching streak in India with new handsets in 2021 And for this, the firm’s CEO Madhav Sheth is giving out teasers already. Sheth today tweeted about a new smartphone series that will be coming to India in 2021 – Realme X7 series. This smartphone lineup will be support 5G and is one of the ways by Realme to “democratize 5G technology in 2021.” The details on the launch date and time frame is not known yet.

This announcement comes shortly after the reports that Realme X7 Pro 5G bagged BIS certification, which was the first indication of it coming to India. According to a tipster,  Realme X7 Pro 5G is seen sporting RMX2121 model number in CIS certification.

Realme X7 Pro 5G has already launched in China. Available in Xingyu Black, Gradient Colour, and Fantasy White, X7 Pro 5G is available for a starting price of CNY 2,199 (  ₹23,000 approximately). The handset features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It has a punch-hole module on the front that houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

On the back, it has a familiar rectangular camera module featuring a setup that consists of 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel, 2-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For performance, it runs on Dimensity 1000+ processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. A 4,500mAh battery coupled with 65W SuperDart Flash charge powers the phone.

Note that the specifications of the phone are for the Chinese model. The company may or may not make changes to the phone when it launches in India.
