Samsung Galaxy A52 5G India launch gets closer

It’s been rumoured for the past few weeks that Samsung could possibly bring the 5G variant of Galaxy A52 in India. New evidence suggests the smartphone could indeed launch in India. The support page of Galaxy A52 5G has gone live on Samsung India’s official website. This listing doesn’t give out any other information but it does confirm an upcoming launch.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has been listed with the model number SM-A526B/DS, according to a report by 91mobiles. This sighting comes shortly after it was reported that Samsung has already started working on firmware development for the smartphone. Galaxy A52 5G launched globally in March so other than the price tag we know all about the phone. In India, the smartphone will cost higher than the 4G model which is priced at ₹26,499.

In terms of specs, Galaxy A52 5G features a 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

There’s a quad rear camera setup on the Galaxy A52 5G. It includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the smartphone houses a 32-megapixel front camera.

Galaxy A52 5G packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. On the software front, Galaxy A52 5G runs One UI 3.1, based on Android 11. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
