Amazfit GTR 2e, GTS 2e to launch in India on Jan 19

Amazfit announced it will launch the GTR 2e and GTS 2e will launch in India on January 19. The new Amazfit smartwatches made their debut in CES 2021, and are affordable versions of the GTR 2 and GTS 2.

Amazfit GTR 2e will be available on the company’s website and Amazon as well. As for the GTS 2e, this one can be purchased via Flipkart and from Amazfit’s website. Both smartwatches will go on sale on January 19.

In terms of specs, Amazfit GTR 2e features a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD circular display with 326 ppi pixel density. It packs a 471mAh battery that is claimed to last for 24 days on a single charge. The smartwatch has over 90 sports modes and over 50 watch faces to choose from.

It also has an SpO2 sensor to measure blood-oxygen levels, and it can monitor stress and sleep as well. Amazfit GTR 2e is also equipped with a heart rate monitor. The smartwatch has 5 ATM for water resistance. Like the other Amazfit smartwatches, this one too has the PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence) Health Assessment System to check one’s collated health score.

Amazfit GTS 2e has a rectangular display with a bigger 1.65-inch HD AMOLED screen. It comes with the same features as the GTR 2e but with a battery life of 14 days on typical usage.

Amazfit has been on a roll launching new smartwatches in India. Just last month, it launched the GTR 2, GTS 2 and GTS 2 mini in India.
