Boat’s Airdopes 501 with hybrid ANC launched in India for ₹2,499: Check out all details

Boat has launched its latest TWS offering, the Boat Boat Airdopes 501 that comes with features like Bluetooth v5.2, the company’s own BEAST for low audio latency, ASAP Charge, ENx, and more. The buds have been launched at an introductory price of ₹2,499 on Amazon and Boat and they come with a one-year standard warranty. The Boat Airdopes 501 ANC comes with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation up to 30dB to suppress noise at extended frequencies and also to adapt to and correct errors. The background noise is canceled by the Boat Airdopes 501 by using the anti-noise signal. There are also dual microphones in each bud with ENx technology that promises a clear calling experience. The buds also come with an Ambient mode that allows you to fade out background sounds during media playback.

The Boat Airdopes 501 comes with something the company calls its BEAST technology. BEAST, or Bionic Engine and Sonic Technology, is essentially a low latency decoder that reduces transmission latency to keep both audio and video in sync. A feature like this should help if you plan to use the Boat Airdopes 501 for gaming. The earbuds also come with Bluetooth v5.2 support for easy connectivity. There is also in-ear detection on the right bud to help detect when it is worn and this can trigger automatic music play or pause. The Boat Airdopes 501 ANC also comes with 8mm drivers.

The Boat Airdopes 501 ANC comes with a five-hour battery life promise on a single charge which is expandable to up to 28 hours depending on your usage. There is ASAP Charge support that claims that a quick 5-minute charge can deliver continuous playback for up to 60 mins. The buds come with a Type-C connector for the charging case and sport an IPX 4 rating for dust and sweat resistance. There are also touch controls for media playback, calls, summoning the voice assistant, etc. There is also an additional feature of a one-touch voice assistant mode to summon Google Assistant or Siri.
