Samsung Galaxy Note 20 battery details revealed

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series is rumoured to offer up to 4,500mAh battery. The high battery capacity is widely believed to be for the high-end variant, dubbed as Galaxy Note 20+. Now, a new report sheds light on the battery capacity of the base model, Galaxy Note 20.

Sammobile reports Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will come with a 4,300mAh battery. The details were spotted on China’s 3C’s certification database. Samsung will likely have the same battery specs for the models outside China as well.

That said, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 comes with 3,500mAh battery whereas the Note 10 Plus comes with a bigger 4,300mAh battery. As GSMArena points out, the battery capacity is going to be crucial for the upcoming Note phones considering the 5G support and bigger screen.

Samsung has gradually increased and optimised the battery capacity on its flagship phones in the last few years. There has also been a general curiosity around its battery prowess, especially after the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.

The Galaxy Note 20 series is set to launch in August this year. According to recent leaks, Samsung will use an upgraded Exynos 992 processor on its Note 20 phones. The processor is said to deliver up to 20% better performance than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 standard model is said to come with a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The high-end variant is said to come with a bigger 6.87-inch AMOLED display.
