We are still a few months before Samsung launches the next flagship, which is the Galaxy S21. But leaks and rumours have already started pouring in. The handsets have showed up in 3C certification and it looks like we’ve got our first leak on the battery specifications. As per the listing, the unannounced Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are said to feature 3880mAh and 4660mAh batteries. To be specific, these are the SM-G991 and SM-G996 smartphones and the one with more battery is said to be the Galaxy S21+.

It has been added that one shouldn’t go with the battery capacities mentioned in the listing as the official numbers will be higher.

The listing shared via My Smart Price also reveals that Samsung won’t be manufacturing its own batteries this time for the Galaxy S flagships. Instead, these are supposed to be made by a China-based company called Ningde Amperex technology Limited.

But a bigger news that surrounds the Galaxy S21 series is that will it be killing the Galaxy Note lineup by next year and will it support S Pen? That’s what was reported recently.

A recent report from South Korea stated that Samsung is planning to ‘kill’ the Galaxy Note line up as soon as next year and replace it with Galaxy Fold series instead. And in case you want that ‘S-Pen’ experience, Samsung will include it in next-gen Galaxy S handset. However, the S-Pen support is said to arrive in just Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Although this is a major change in the line-up, for the most part it does make sense considering both Galaxy S series and Note series come with same set of specs (almost) with the only major difference being the S Pen implementation.
