Snapchat has added a number of safety features that allow users to secure their profile. From sharing live location with a friend or family member to easily reporting unwanted connections, the social media app empowers users. Know how Snapchat makes app safer for girls:

Location sharing off by default: Location-sharing is off by default for all users. Users are required to set a time duration within which they want to share their live location. The content platform, Discover, only features content from vetted media publishers and content creators.
