Xiaomi has launched its Pocket Speaker 2 in India. Priced at ₹1,499, the device is already available through Mi.com. The portable speaker comes in two colour variants, black and white.
Xiaomi Mi Pocket Speaker comes in a cylindrical design, similar to Amazon's Echo series. It measures 9.3 x 6 x 6 cm. The upper surface of the speaker is made out of anodized aluminum while lower body of speaker is built with polycarbonate and ABS materials. It also has an LED indicator. MI 2 speaker has a 5W speaker, developed in partnership with Germany's popular audio company, Tymphany.
There's also fabric net design which the company claims to deliver clear sound. The speaker has an easy to use design. Its top mounted control buttons makes it really easy to use. You can control the playback, volume and other features with control panel.
Powered by a 1,200mAh battery, Xiaomi claims the device delivers up to 7 hours of back when played non-stop. The speaker has an inbuilt microphone thus allowing the users to make calls.
