Tata Sky Binge+ adds ZEE5 to its bouquet

Tata Sky has expanded the bouquet of content offerings on its Tata Sky Binge+ to include ZEE5. 

The OTT platform will bring more than 125,000 hours of content across 12 languages including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Bhojpuri, and Punjabi among others. TataSky Binge+ already offers OTT platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar Premuim, SunNxt, Hungama Play, Eros Now and ShemarooMe.

“OTT apps are gaining ground as a popular medium of content consumption.  Considering the stupendous response we have received from the viewers for the fully integrated Tata Sky Binge+ set-top box, we are now strengthening this offering further by bringing onboard ZEE5’s unmatched content library that will further elevate the content viewing experience for our subscribers…,” said a Tata Sky spokesperson.

In case you did not know, Tata Sky Binge+ is a smart platform that brings screen casting features via in-built Chromecast. It also supports Google Assistant. Users have access to over 5,000 applications via Google Play Store. It is compatible with all modern TVs which support HDMI output. Of late, ZEE5 has added more partners to boost the platform. Airtel recently announced bundling ZEE5 subscription with select prepaid plans. Reliance Jio is also bundling ZEE5 with some Jio Fiber plans. Recently, ZEE5 launched HiPi, an Indian alternative to TikTok.
