It has been long rumoured that Apple will be introducing micro LED display technology in its products. However, there’s no word as to which device it will be reaching first and when. Now, a new piece of information coming from a tipster (@L0vetodream) suggests that we might see micro LED displays in none other than Apple Watch but unfortunately, not this year as several reports have claimed in the past. The tipster states that micro LED-based Apple Watches can arrive by next year.

The tipster, who’s leaks come as ‘in my dream’ on Twitter, states that Apple Watch Series 6 will use the display from JDI. For those unaware, JDI Displays have been providing OLED screens for Apple Watches since past few years and as per the report the watchmaker has invested some $200 million to enable larger production of OLED screens for iPhones.
