Realme has teased the launch of Realme X7 Max 5G in India. The smartphone will be the first in India to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 5G processor. Realme X7 Max 5G is also confirmed to feature a punch-hole display based on the teaser. The company has launched a dedicated microsite for the phone.
Realme has also revealed it’s partnering with Asphalt 9 Legends for the launch of the smartphone. Other than that, the Realme X7 Max 5G is confirmed to feature dual 5G SIM. The phone’s design was also teased by CEO Madhav Sheth. It shows a small glimpse of the phone’s rear panel which looks quite similar to the Realme GT Neo. This adds to the rumour that the phone could be a rebranded version of Realme GT Neo.
Going by this speculation, we can expect Realme X7 Max 5G will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also feature a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, Realme X7 Max 5G will house a 16-megapixel front camera. It will also pack a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.
Realme X7 Max 5G was supposed to launch on May 4 at the company’s biggest event in India. This event was in celebration of the company’s three-year anniversary in India. Realme however postponed the event in light of the ongoing situation in the country. It’s yet to announce the rescheduled launch date of its event.
