Haier launches new washing machines with a bunch of sanitisation features

Haier on Friday launched a new series of front loading fully automatic washing machines in India. The company says that its newly launched washing machine series called the Super Drum Series sports the industry’s first biggest ever drum and that it is available for purchase across the country starting today.

Talking about the features, Haier says that its new washing machine range comes with an extra-large 525mm super drum that provides extra space to the garments along with enhanced washing efficiency and intensity. This in turn minimises creases and enables users to easily load and take out the laundry quickly.

The new washing machines come with an energy-efficient BLDC inverter motor. It also features an upgraded software equipped with AI-DBT (Dynamic Balance Technology), which the company says ensures that the washing machine is stable and quiet during the entire wash cycle.

Haier has also introduced a six-step refresh program, starting from rotation of the clothes to water inlet to the heated water transforming into vapour and then finally moving to refreshing and cooling of the garments in its new washing machines. The company says that this new feature also removes odour from garments while minimising wrinkles.

Additionally, the washing machines come with upgraded sanitization functions including Hi Care, which the company says triple safeguards the users and their family members. It also includes Anti Bacterial Technology which keeps the gasket and detergent dispenser clean and hygienic, and Dual Spray and PuriSteam that eliminates bacteria, allergens, and mites effectively.

Lastly, Haier’s newly launched Super Drum series of washing machines come with 3 years of comprehensive warranty and 12 years warranty on the motor.

As far as the pricing is concerned, Haier’s new Super Drum Series of washing machines are available in six new variants. They come at a starting price of ₹38,490 for the base variant with the lowest capacity and go all the way up to ₹44,990 for the top variant with maximum capacity.
