Lenovo was founded in 1984 by Liu Chuanzhi and is headquartered in China. The company was constituted as a legal corporation in 1988 under the moniker ‘Legend,' and did business under that name for nearly two decades. To enhance its global footprint, the company's name was changed to Lenovo in 2002

In 2011, the company launched a joint venture to produce personal computers with NEC, a Japanese electronics giant. In 2014, Lenovo bought Motorola Mobility from Google. The Lenovo K13 Note by Lenovo will be launched soon in India. It has a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels included with the phone.
Lenovo provides a variety of software and services in addition to its devices. REACHit, SHAREit, WRITEit, SECUREit, SYNCit, SNAPit and SEEit are among them. Lenovo Connect is a wireless roaming service offered by the corporation.
