WhatsApp users can join missed calls now: On the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android, users can now join a WhatsApp call they were invited to, even if they miss the call at the beginning. If a call is initiated from a group, users can quickly go to the group chat and tap the new “Join” button that shows up inside the chat, according to the report.

WhatsApp Calls tab: Interestingly, the second change introduced on the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS, which allowed users to join an existing call from the ‘Calls’ tab, is now available on the WhatsApp beta for Android. There is an additional feature, a visual indicator that shows on the call tab to tell users that they can join an ongoing group call.

WhatsApp requirement: According to WABetaInfo, users who are signed up to receive the beta version of WhatsApp for Android should begin to see the feature appearing on their devices as long they are running the latest beta version 2.21.15.2 of the app. However, some users who are running the previous version 2.21.15.1 are also able to see the features according to the report, which states that it might take 24 hours for the feature to be enabled for a user’s account after they download the latest beta version, which is available from this link.
