Samsung Galaxy A51, A71 get Galaxy S20’s premium camera features

Samsung on Friday announced rolling out its flagship camera features from Galaxy S20 line to mid-range Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 smartphones. The features include the popular Single Take that had debuted with Galaxy S20 earlier this year.

The Single Take feature uses all camera sensors to help you achieve the best shot. You can capture an up to 10 seconds of footage. The feature uses AI algorithms to record different versions of the clip.

Apart from the Single Take feature, Samsung has launched custom filters. This includes the ability to include new colours and filters. You can also swap these filters after taking the photos.

Another interesting camera feature that has been added is “Smart Selfie Angle”. This mode essentially helps you have a better backdrop when you are taking a selfie.

Samsung has rolled out a quick video functionality wherein users can simply long-press the shutter button to start recording a video. There’s also a smart switch feature which lets you easily transition between front and rear cameras when recording a video. Another new feature is Night Hyperlapse. As the name implies, it lets you shoot videos with long exposure-style.

To get these features, Samsung users need to download the latest firmware update. In order to do so, go to settings > software update > download & install the update.
