Samsung’s SpaceMax Family Hub refrigerator to launch in India next week, prices start from ₹2 lakh

Samsung is adding to its list of IoT products with the SpaceMax Family Hub refrigerator next week. The connected refrigerator is going to be launched in India soon and can be pre-booked via Flipkart.

Pre-booking on Flipkart, Samsung.com and other online stores kicks off from July 13 and those looking to do it then can avail a special pre-book price for the SpaceMax Family Hub range. The refrigerators are expected to be priced between ₹2 lakh to ₹2.3 lakh, according to sources in the company. 

The SpaceMax Family Hub refrigerators will come with smart features seen on the other flagship Family Hub devices and the SpaceMax tech is going to add more storage space inside the fridge without adding to external dimensions.

The SpaceMax Family Hub refrigerators will come with features that automate meal planning and will allow users to connect it with other smart appliances at home including smartphones etc. You can watch your favorite TV show on the refrigerator's entertainment screen while you are working in the kitchen.

Samsung unveiled the Family Hub 3.0 in India in 2018 for ₹2.8 lakh and the new fridges coming in next week are successors of that range. But the new lot should be a tad more affordable. The 810-litre Family Hub 3.0 with "triple cooling" facility came with a 21-inch touchscreen and Bixby voice control.
