Reliance Jio last week introduced new work from home 4G add-on packs. These add-on packs work with an existing recharge plan but expire along with it. Jio has now updated these add-on packs with 30 days validity.
First spotted by OnlyTech, the 4G add-on packs will now last for 30 days irrespective of the existing recharge plan’s validity. This means that you can continue using the data pack even if your recharge plan has expired. There are three Jio 4G add-on packs priced at ₹151, ₹201 and ₹251.
For the ₹151 add-on pack you get 30GB of 4G data, while the ₹201 pack offers 40GB of data pack. With the ₹251 add-on pack you get 50GB of data. Since these are add-on packs, additional 4G data is the only benefit you get with it. There’s no other benefit as those can be availed with the existing recharge plan.
Jio has more data vouchers that users can go for. But these expire with the recharge plan’s validity. There are four 4G data vouchers available starting at ₹11 which offers 800MB data and 75 minutes Jio to non-Jio. There’s the ₹21 data voucher that comes with 2GB data and 200 free non-Jio minutes.
Jio’s ₹51 voucher gives users 6GB of data and 500 minutes for non-Jio calls. Lastly, the ₹101 data voucher offers 12GB of data and 1,000 minutes Jio to non-Jio calls.
