WhatsApp revamped Contact Info page, new media sharing features coming SOON

WhatsApp keeps on working on updates in order to provide its users more features and comfort and also to remove bugs if any. As per the latest information, the messaging application is working on a revamped contact info page. As per the information provided by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is planning a redesign for the contact info page on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS. A search shortcut is also planned on WhatsApp for iOS.

"WhatsApp is working on a revamped Contact Info page! A redesign is planned for the Contact Info page on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS, using the same interface from Business Info. In addition, a search shortcut is also planned on WhatsApp for iOS," WABetaInfo tweeted.

According to the information provided by WABetainfo, after releasing the WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.21.170.12 update, the application has introduced a redesigned page for Business Info. "It is very similar to iOS contact cards when you open your address book and, on Android, it also allows opening their status updates," it said in a statement.

WhatsApp is getting some new features

In a future update of WhatsApp beta for iOS and Android, WhatsApp is also planning to introduce the same redesigned page for Contact Info, it added. WhatsApp will use the same interface that has been introduced for Business Info, but there is a small addition that is the Contact Info page will introduce a search shortcut.

It can be noted that the WhatsApp beta for Android update will not include the search shortcut. Also, this feature is under development and information about the release date to beta testers is not yet known.

Other than this, WhatsApp is also working on editing recipients that is the option to choose different recipients before sending media right within a WhatsApp chat. New changes will also implement the possibility to upload the media to your status update, even if you are sending the image, video, GIF to a WhatsApp chat.

WABetaInfoinformed about the same via a tweet and said, "WhatsApp is working on editing recipients! The possibility to choose different recipients before sending media right within a WhatsApp chat is under development on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS."

It can be noted that this is already possible when you take a photo from the Camera tab but, now it will be possible to choose different recipients right within a WhatsApp chat as well. As of now this feature is under development and the release date is not yet known.
