Oppo F17 Pro to launch in India today, check expected specifications, features, and more

Oppo is set to launch the long-awaited F17 Pro in India today. The company will host a virtual event at 7 PM IST to showcase the phone. You can watch the live stream of the event on the company’s official social media handles.

Touted as the sleekest phone of 2020, Oppo F17 Pro is 7.48mm slim and weighs just 164 grams. The phone comes with as many as 6 AI-enabled portrait cameras. It is also confirmed to feature 30W Vooc flash charge 4.0. 

Ahead of the official launch, Oppo has also released official renders of F17 Pro which reveals dual punch-hole cameras on the front. The back panel houses a square-like camera module with large button-like sensors. The phone is also seen featuring in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The quad-camera setup on the back will house a 48-megapixel primary camera. The selfie camera module will house a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The F17 Pro also features OPPO's AI Beautification 2.0 that is customized for Indian beauty preference and preserves natural skin tones,” Oppo had said in a release.

Oppo has not officially revealed full specifications of the phone yet. According to reports, the smartphone comes with a large 6.43-inch display with full HD+ resolution. It will run on Android 10.

For performance, it is said to rely on MediaTek Helio P95 octa-core processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of built-in storage. It will feature a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
