Xiaomi teases Redmi phone launch in India, Redmi Note 10S expected

Xiaomi has teased the launch of a new Redmi smartphone in India. The company hasn’t revealed the phone’s name but it’s most likely the Redmi Note 10S. The teaser image shows the retail box of a Redmi phone along with hints that reveal its key specifications.

According to the teaser image, this Redmi phone will come with a 64-megapixel primary camera, and feature a ‘Super Display’. The smartphone will run MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box. It’s also teased to feature Hi-Res Audio, and pack a massive battery. The teaser also reveals three colour options of grey, white and blue. The details revealed so far are the same as those of Redmi Note 10S.

In terms of specs, Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED hole-punch display. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

On the Redmi Note 10S, there’s a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel front camera.

On the software front, Redmi Note 10S runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Redmi Note 10S also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack and has dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio. The smartphone also comes with IP53 certification for water and dust resistance.
