Belkin Kakao Friends 10W wireless charging pad launched in India

Belkin has launched a new wireless charger in India in collaboration with Kakao Friends. The Belkin Boost Up 10W wireless charging pad Kakao Edition will be available exclusively via Amazon India.

Belkin has priced the wireless charging pad at ₹3,499 on Amazon India. It comes in two colour options of black and white. Kakao Friends are animated characters based on Korea’s KakaoTalk emoticons.

There are six Kakao Friends characters - Ryan is a male lion who doesn’t have a mane, Apeach is a mischievous peach that escaped from the peach tree, Muzi wears a rabbit costume and he’s accompanied by the unidentifiable Con, Frodo is the wealthy city dog and Neo is the coy fashion icon, Tube is a timid and sensitive duck, and Jay-G is a hip-hop loving free soul.

Belkin has two wireless charging pads where the black one features Ryan and the white one features Apeach. The wireless charging pad is of Qi standard and offers 10W output. It’s compatible with Qi devices like iPhones, Galaxy S series phones, AirPods, and Galaxy Buds.

It supports 7.5W wireless charging for iPhones, and 9W wireless charging for Samsung phones. Other Qi enabled devices get up to 10W charging. It can also charge through lightweight plastic cases up to 3mm, and has an LED light that indicates safe and successful charging. The Belkin Kakao wireless charging pad comes with a 2 years warranty.
