Facebook Messenger tops iPhone charts

The Facebook Messenger iPhone application enables users to send instant messages and photos to Facebook friends via their mobile. Since being released on October 19, the application has become the most downloaded free iPhone application in a number of countries around the world including France, Australia and Germany.
