How to use Dark Mode on Twitter

Dark Mode is quite popular. Google and Apple have both offered Dark Mode on their operating systems for a couple of years now. Thanks to several requests from users, most of the well known apps on these platforms now include a dark theme. However, sometimes the settings to enable dark modes in these apps are not very easily accessible and there a specific ways to turn them on based on the app you are using. Today, we are going to tell you how to use the mode on your Twitter application.

Step 1: Open the Twitter app on your phone (Android).

Step 2: Tap on the menu button on the top left corner.

Step 3: Scroll down to enter “Settings and privacy.”

Step 4: Tap on “Display and sound”.

Step 5: Tap on the “Dark Mode.”

Step 6: Here, you can turn on or off the mode.

Step 7: You can also choose to automatically activate dark mode at sunset.

Choose the setting you prefer and exit.

In case you did not know, Twitter also gives you a “Dim” option. It offers a relatively lighter intensity of dark theme. The “Lights Out” will fully implement the Dark Mode — which looks great for those with AMOLED screens, especially at night.

To use the Dim mode, follow the above-mentioned steps 1 to 5. Now, choose the Dim mode and exit the application.
