Galaxy Watch 3 details revealed again ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event

Galaxy Watch 3 is one of the top products scheduled to go official at Samsung’s August 5 Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event. The Apple Watch-competitor is said to come with a range of upgrades, new features, and improvements. Ahead of the official release, details of the smartwatch have continued to pour in the form of leaks. The latest is the user manual which leaves very little to the imagination.

Courtesy leakster Evan Blass, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3’s user manual confirms the presence of 41mm and 45mm models. The two variants will be available in Bluetooth-only and LTE options.

The user manual reveals Bluetooth-only model will have a circular dial on the front, rotating bezels on the top, and two buttons (back key and home key) on the sides. There will also be a microphone on the side of the dial.

The wearable is seen with a range of sensors such as atmospheric pressure sensor, GPS antenna, light sensor, speaker, and touchscreen. On the back of the dial are pressure vent and heart rate sensor. The LTE-only model has exactly the same design, sensors and everything else.

The new document leaks confirm the previously rumoured and expected features from the Galaxy Watch 3. According to reports so far, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will run on the latest iteration of Tizen OS, up to 1GB of RAM, up to 8GB of built-in storage. The larger model will have a 1.4-inch round touchscreen coupled with a 340mAh battery. The smaller variant will have a 1.2-inch display with a 247mAh battery. Both the models will have AMOLED displays with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, reports Sammobile.

Other expected features from Galaxy Watch 3 are ECG monitor, 5ATM and IP68 water and dust resistance certifications.
