However, you will have to apply for change online before visiting the enrolment centre. Here are the simple and easy steps using which you can get your photo updated on Aadhaar card.

How to change photo in Aadhaar card?

Step 1: For carrying out the Aadhar photo update, go to the official website of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) or click on the link- https://uidai.gov.in/.

Step 2: You need to download the Aadhaar Enrolment Form from the website.

Step 3: Provide the required information on the form related to photo change.

Step 4: After filling the required details you will have to submit the form at a nearby Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.

Step 5: Your details will then be confirmed by the executive via biometric verification.

Step 6: The executive will take your new photo at the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.

Step 7: A fee of ₹25 along with GST will be charged from you for the photo change service.

Step 8: You will be provided with an acknowledgement slip with the update request number (URN). This URN will be used to check the update status on the UIDAI website.
