LIC IPO share allotment status: Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) will begin its IPO (initial public offering) for bidding on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 and will continue till May 9. The price band of the LIC IPO has been set between Rs. 902-949 per equity share. The government aims to raise around Rs. 21,000 crore from the LIC IPO by giving up a 3.5 percent stake in the insurance giant. The IPO will be a pure offer for sale (OFS) of up to 221.37 million shares. The listing of shares of LIC on both the NSE and BSE is likely to take place on May 17, 2022. Investors and LIC policyholders who want to buy shares are required to have a demat account to apply for the LIC IPO. They can apply through apps like Groww, Upstox, Zerodha and other depository participants (DP) to book the issue.
Meanwhile, the IPO was opened for anchor investors on May 2 and got oversubscribed with bids of over ₹7,000 crore.

LIC IPO listing on BSE or NSE will take place on May 17, 2022. However, the company has not confirmed anything yet on the share allotment status date. According to chittorgarh.com finalization date of basis of allotment is May 12, 2022. It added that IPO share allotment process will take at least 6 working days after the issue is closed for subscription.

Go to the official website of BSE or simply click here https://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx.
On the next page, select ‘equity’ option and then choose the issue name – ‘LIC IPO’ from the dropdown menu.
Next, enter your application number and PAN card number.
Verify 'I am not a robot' and hit submit. The LIC IPO share allotment status will be opened.
