According to data shared by the Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS),  Asteroid 2016 LY48 is on a trajectory towards the Earth at a rapid speed of 38928 kilometres per hour and is scheduled to make its nearest approach to the planet on September 16, 2023. (Pixabay)

As per NASA's asteroid data tracking data, the asteroid 2016 LY48 is expected to be 1930000 kilometres close to our planet. This may look like a huge distance but in terms of the vastness of space, it is negligible and quite close.. (Pixabay)
