Sony PS Plus games for October revealed: Need for Speed Payback, Vampyr

Sony has announced its two new titles that are coming as a part of PS Plus games this month. And the titles are – Need for Speed: Payback and Vampyr. While one is a racing game, the other one is a RPG title. Both of these will be available starting October 6 until November 2 (Monday). 

“With both Need for Speed: Payback and Vampyr launching October 6, you won’t have long until you can turn speed demon or sink your teeth into a thrilling action horror,” states the blog post.

This also means that gamers get a last chance to add September’s PS Plus games in their PS4 library - Street Fighter V and PUBG: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Both of these will be available until October 5.

In NFS Payback, besides racing and completing missions, you get to be a part of heist missions perform setpieces as well. You can also choose from three different characters each with their own unique skills. And as always, customising rides are possible to make your vehicle stronger and ore powerful.

Vampyr is set in 1918 and is a third-person action RPG with narrative choices. In this, you play as a doctor turned vampire in London that is ‘gripped by violence and fear’. You can use supernatural abilities and man-made tools along with weapons to fight or escape evil and vampire hunters. “Save the city’s populace or feed on them to become stronger, but giving in to your bloodlust can have grave consequences…”

Sony has already launched its PS5 console and has given price details with release date as well.
