Google Pixel 5 shows up in images few hours ahead of launch

Google is all set to launch its Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G smartphone in next few hours. While the two handsets have been teased already by the search giant, there have also been several leaks giving us a good idea of what to expect. This time, tipster Jon Prosser has posted two images on Twitter, showcasing the more premium and flagship Google phone, Pixel 5, in live images. While the first shows the front side, the second one shows the backside of the device.

From the looks of it, the front side has all screen and a punch hole at the top left corner. What’s interesting is that this time the Pixel 5 is seen with equal bezels on all the four sides. This has never been seen in previous Pixel handsets as there has always been a ‘chin’ and will be something that Pixel fans will definitely like. For what’s worth, Apple has manged to do the same with its iPhones already and the latest ones that you see in the market do have equal bezels.

At the back we can see the matte black texture instead of the dual-tone texture which was in Pixels phones until last year. In addition, there’s a physical fingerprint sensor and a dual rear camera setup in a square enclosure.

As for the specs, the Pixel 5 is rumoured to feature a 6.5-inch full HD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It may also include a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and 12.2-megapixel primary sensor at the back. For performance, Google Pixel 5 will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. And the entire device might be backed by a 4,080mAh battery.
