Leaked! Oppo Reno 8 Pro key specs tipped!

Oppo is just a month away from the launch of the new edition to its Reno series - Oppo Reno 8. The phone is expected to arrive in India by June 2022. The Oppo Reno 8 series is rumored to have three models- Reno 8 Lite, Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. Though any official information on the designs and specifications haven’t come yet, the leaks and rumors have already started surfacing on the internet. In a recent development, a tipster by the name of Digital Chat Station shared the expected details of Oppo Reno 8 Pro on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website).

As reported by Gizmochina, the leakster claims that the Reno 8 Pro will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX SoC, paired with the company’s in-house MariSilicon X NPU. He also added that on the front, the device will feature a 6.7 inch OLED display from BOE that has a FHD+ resolution and a center aligned punch hole cutout for the 32 megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie shooter. Oppo Reno 8 Pro: Expected specifications

Apart from the powerful chipset and display, the phone is likely to be equipped with a triple rear camera setup of a 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone will rely on a 4,500mAh battery pack supported by 80W fast charging. The tipster also reveals some additional details like an X axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers, NFC, and aviation grade aluminum metal frame.

Apparently, the Reno 8 Pro is speculated to weigh around 183 grams and measure just 7.34mm in thickness. Furthermore, the model is rumored to be available in multiple color variants including a gray, green, and black color option. Apart from this, the tipster also shared that the Reno 8 series model with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 too has the MariSilicon X NPU.
