Realme Race appears on TENAA, new Snapdragon 888 flagship incoming

It looks like Realme is close to officially launching their latest flagship phone, the Realme Race. The device is part of the new series bearing the Race moniker. After the device reportedly picked up an official TENAA certification recently, we now have a fair idea of what the phone looks like.

The Realme Race’s TENAA listing indicates that its model number will likely be RXM2202, with the image showing a light blue colour and a gradient on the back of the phone. Considering this is likely to be a flagship device, it is likely to ship with a glass back, according to a new report.

From the images on the Realme Race’s listing on TENAA, it appears that the company has chosen to go with a punch-hole display, instead of a notch or in-display camera. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t confirm either the processor or the camera specifications, but we had reported in December when the device’s renders had leaked, indicating it might come with a triple camera layout with a 64 MP primary shooter.

It also looks like Realme has decided to refrain from using the “Dare to Leap” branding across the back of the Realme Race, thankfully. While many users would opt for a protective case, nobody wants to see those big alphabets on the back of a flagship phone, that is rumoured to run the all-powerful Snapdragon 888.

We had previously reported that the Realme Race will likely ship with 12 GB RAM and a 4,000 mAh battery. Realme will likely include support for 125W UltraDart fast charging, which supposedly charges a phone like the Realme Race completely within 20 minutes. The new images from the TENAA listing suggest that Realme has included the 4,000 mAh battery, as the phone appears to be considerably thicker than most other flagships.
