Samsung brings Android 11-based OneUI 3.0 to Galaxy Note 20 users

Samsung fans might already be knowing that Android 11-based OneUI 3.0 beta kicked-off for Galaxy S20 series users earlier this month. However, now even Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra users can also be a part of the beta program to experience OneUI 3.0. The news comes from Samsung’s own US community forum post. As per the post, Galaxy Note 20 users on Sprint and T-Mobile can register for the beta program. Also mentioned is that those with unlocked models can apply for it.

In case you are interested, all you need to do is to open the Samsung Members app on your phone and tap on the beta program banner. Right now, the beta version has not been revealed. However, it might arrive soon, once Samsung gets enough members in the program. And since the beta program is live in the US, it might come to other countries soon.

The firm has added that it is "speeding up to provide the most stable version," indicating that the arrival of OneUI 3.0 could be slated for this year itself.

On a related note, recently a patent was discovered, suggesting Samsung to work on a smartphone with a completely new form factor. It is working on a display that pops up when required in a smartphone. The patent also gives details on how Samsung plans to create a speaker resonance chamber inside a phone. The design, besides introducing a new form factor, will also amplify the sound and make it louder.
